The camera includes a newly introduced interval shooting function, which means continuous shooting with a break between 1 and 60 seconds between photo shots. This can be used to create time-lapse movies on a PC using the Viewer app, which is part of the Imaging EdgeTM desktop applications.

Practical Vlog functions

For vlog recording, the 180-degree swiveling LCD is useful for cropping the image. For audio, in addition to the jack for an external microphone, an optional XLR adapter (sold separately) can also be used, allowing the use of professional microphones for higher audio quality.

Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 Di III-A VC RXD

The Tamron 17-70mm F/2.8 is the world's first fast 4.1x standard Zoom lens for mirrorless system cameras with APS-C sensor. It offers a universal focal length range of 17mm to 70mm (25.5-105mm KB equivalent) with a constant speed of F/2.8, as well as high image quality. It features Tamron's proprietary VC image stabilization system to prevent camera shake when shooting, and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure steady images when shooting movies.

The lens is exceptionally compact and lightweight, as well as splash-proof. The front lens is coated with a water-repellent fluorine coating. Like the other models in the Tamron E-series, the 17-70mm F2.8 has a 67mm filter thread, so a polarizing or gray filter will fit on all models.
