The Irix Cine 11mm T4.3 lens is suitable for capturing images in 8K UHD resolution. With its extremely short focal length of 11mm, straight-line image projection, and large image circle of 43.3mm across the entire image format, this is a striking cine lens.

Average Wide Field of View
Depending on the diagonal of the sensor, this lens offers an average wide field of view for classic wide-angle shooting or a super panoramic viewing angle of 123 degrees in a widescreen format of 2.39:1. Thanks to its unique parameters, the lens offers a perspective not available in film optics. This gives you a lot of creativity when taking dynamic shots.

The optical lens system is based on the new optical formula designed specifically for cinematic purposes. It consists of 16 optical elements, four of which are made of glass with a high refractive index. Three other lens elements have aspherical surfaces. The last two are made of low dispersion glass.

Resolution up to 8K UHD
With a large front lens and other special glass elements, the lens delivers sharp movie footage at resolutions up to 8K. This while maintaining the "focus breathing effect" at the lowest level. The lens offers a large aperture of T4.3, which is reduced to T22 thanks to the rounded shape of the iris blades.

The Multi Start Thread focusing mechanism ensures quiet and precise focusing even in adverse weather conditions such as rain, humidity or extreme temperatures. The focus ring rotates 180 degrees and features a focus scale with metric or English units, depending on the lens design.

The lens is equipped with an innovative magnetic mounting system for accessories. The MMS system allows quick and easy attachment of various special accessories. The lens hood, supplied with the lens in the kit, is the first item in the MMS system. This system will be expanded in the future.
