Die Abbildungsqualität ist nach meinen Feststellungen durchgängig gut. Der Schärfenabfall zum Rand bei weit geöffneter Blende ist völlig ok. Schärfeabfall zum Rand ist normal und gewollt, wenn man offenblendig fotografiert (ich spreche es an, weil dieser Punkt oftmals zu unrecht kritisiert wird). Nicht gut gefallen hat mir im Bereich von Blende 1,7 - 2,2 die Schärfe am eigentlich fokussierten Punkt. Es ist mir (auf dem Stativ) weder im AF noch im MF gelungen, 1-3 Meter entfernte Motive bei Blende 1,7-2,2 richtig knackscharf zu bekommen. In der Normalansicht wirkten die Bilder erst ganz gut, aber sobald man die Bilder bei vergrößerte Ansicht betrachtete, sah man dass die letzte Schärfe irgendwie fehlte (wie gesagt bei Blende 1,7-2,2). Richtig gut wird die (Knack)Schärfe des Objektivs dann ab Blende 2,8.
Bei weit entfernten Motiven (ab ca. 4-5 Meter) ist die Schärfe dann aber auch bei Blende 1,7-2,2 wieder gut - problematisch ist nur der Nahbereich.
Aber für den relativ günstigen Preis ist das Objektiv trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert, da es klein, leicht und gut verarbeitet ist. Und die Lichtstärke bietet sonst kein Nikon-Z-Objetiv aus der DX-Reihe. Das oben Beschriebene basiert natürlich nicht auf professinellen Tests, sondern ist lediglich meine Erfahrung und Einschätzung als Hobby-Fotograf.
