Extra fast at f/1.8, it enables images with remarkable background blur, but - with the help of the image stabilizer of the Olympus cameras based on the Mirco Four Thirds standard - also razor-sharp shots without a tripod in low-light conditions.
To really capture every moment in premium quality, the clever snapshot focus mechanism and MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) technology are part of the wide-angle's equipment. The special ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) multiple lens surface coating minimizes the appearance of ghosting and backlight reflections.

Einziges Ärgernis: es wird keine Streulichtblende mitgeliefert. Diese muss zu einem absurden Preis separat erworben werden (dafür würde ich einen halben Stern Abzug geben).
