This unique ultra-wide-angle lens from Sigma will open up unimagined creative perspectives for you. The "14mm 1.8 DG HSM" comes with a particularly wide angle of view and a terrific speed of F1.8, a value never before achieved for a 14mm lens. With the low closest focusing distance of only 27 cm, photographs are created with a particularly present main subject in the foreground and a widely extended background with soft bokeh.

In addition to architectural and landscape photography, the lens is ideal for night sky scenes. Even at fast shutter speeds, plenty of light is captured thanks to the high speed. Transverse chromatic aberrations, which often occur when using ultra-wide-angle lenses, are minimized thanks to three FLD glass elements and four SLD glass elements. This gives you excellent image quality across the entire image area.

Thanks to the large Hyper-Sonic Motor (HSM), plenty of torque is supplied to the focusing group, so autofocus is particularly fast. A rubber seal has been installed at the lens mount, as this is particularly susceptible to dust and dirt. The front lens repels oil and water, so you can use the lens even in difficult conditions.
