Tamron 24-70 VC USD - Standard zoom with premium resolution.
The SP 24-70mm lens includes three LD elements, three cast aspherical elements, one hybrid aspherical lens, and two XR (extra refractive index) elements. The result is images of exceptional quality. Nine rounded aperture blades provide a fantastic blur effect. Even at the second stop down, these rounded blades ensure a nearly round aperture.
The SP 24-70mm features fast and reliable autofocus (AF) thanks to the USD motor ( Ultrasonic Silent Drive). In addition, the CM mechanism (continuous manual mechanism) offers the possibility of corrective intervention at any time without the need for prior switching to manual focus (MF).
The fast standard zoom SP 24-70mm extends the angle of view in the wide-angle range with an initial focal length of 24mm.
Furthermore, the lens impresses with its lightweight and compact design.
For the first time, Tamron remedies the ingress of splashing water into the interior of the lens with this design. Ideal for outdoor photography in any weather!
