This excellent TTArtisan M 28mm f5.6 features a fabulous optical design, a premium lens with a vintage look.
The TTArtisan M 28mm f/5.6 is a visually very appealing and not everyday vintage lens, while being very light and compact. Its understated appearance makes it ideal for use in street and/or people photography without being distracting or obtrusive.
It will not only convince photographers of all generations because of the optics and the image look, but also the modern construction, nostalgically packaged, does the rest. And in addition to the silver aluminum version, there is now also a brass version painted in black. Over time, traces of brass come through again through use, creating an attractive and unique vintage look.
At first you might think: "only' f/5.6 - but that's exactly the advantage. The a priori strong depth of field makes handling in street photography so decisively easier and popular! The photographer does not have to constantly keep an eye on the technique, but concentrates on the impressions that are important to him.
From a purelytechnical point of view, we're talking about a mere 151 grams packed into a very attractive black brass housing that measures just 51 millimeters in diameter and only 19 millimeters in length
.This little flyweight nevertheless houses an impressive optical design of seven elements arranged in four groups. Among them are two high refractive index elements and one low dispersion element that effectively suppress color differences and keep spherical aberrations at bay.
Depending on the application, it may come in handy that the lens also has a 37mm front thread. Another useful tool is a lever that allows you to fix the infinity setting. This distance is often preselected, especially in street photography. This fixation option means there can be no accidental adjustment when you are 'In Action'.
Aperture and focus adjustment is manual
