Thanks to an extreme f/1.25 aperture, the subject can be wonderfully staged and perfectly separated from the background in terms of design. But it is also ideally suited for the popular available light photography.
In the robust metal housing, 11 elements in 7 groups ensure outstanding imaging performance with the lowest chromatic aberration. For more stability when photographing with a tripod, it has a 1/4 inch threaded sleeve for mounting on an interchangeable plate. The two-piece front cap is also the lens hood. The aperture and focus adjustment is manual.
