Fast, manual lens with wide aperture and excellent optics that lets you take excellent pictures.
This high-quality lens from Voigtländer is particularly fast and can be flexibly adjusted manually, so you are flexibly equipped for various situations. Despite a large aperture of F1.2, the compact size is maintained. The 40mm lens is constructed with eight lenses in six groups, with two aspherical lens elements providing outstanding optics. A soft bokeh is produced at maximum aperture, so portraits, for example, are excellently highlighted.
If you use the lens on cameras with an APS-C sensor, the focal length is 60 mm. The aperture can be adjusted in 1/3 stops. The selective aperture control system allows continuous adjustment of the aperture when shooting video. The lens is 420 grams light and allows the use of filters and accessories with a diameter of 58 mm.
