The EOS C300 Mark II enables internal recording of 4K/Full HD footage with an enormously wide dynamic range (+15 stops), as well as external RAW recording and Canon Log 2 to realize creative visions. The Super 35mm Canon CMOS sensor with 8.85 megapixels was designed specifically for film recording and offers high sensitivity, optimized noise performance, and enables high-resolution shooting with exceptional detail.

HD image processing with oversampling is an advanced Bayer pattern resolution algorithm in image processing that effectively exploits the tremendous 4K image performance in full HD recording. The camera captures 4K images by splitting the RGB channels into three individual 4K signals of 8 megapixels each. These 4K RBG signals are then modulated and scaled down to a single full HD signal of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This optimizes the perceived resolution and enables the capture of much clearer Full HD images.

The EOS C300 Mark II's innovative automatic features give you the freedom to focus entirely on shooting. These include Dual Pixel CMOS AF with 80% sensor coverage horizontally and vertically, Face Detection AF (with compatible lenses), and Auto White Balance - so you never miss a shot. Autofocus has also been further improved, now allowing AF speed adjustment (with compatible lenses) and optimized AF focus tracking for more natural focusing.
