All video modes including 4K at 120fps or 4K 2:4:1 at 160fps in 10-bit, internal recording in ProRes RAW up to 60fps in 10-bit, and external recording using Atomos Ninja V in 4K ProRes RAW. You can achieve unique results with this camera, because this performance is unparalleled.
Still small, but grown up!
The new Flagship Series adapter mount allows the Z CAM to be used with a separate electronic ND module, or to replace the pre-installed MFT mount with either a PL or EF mount. The Leica DG Vario Summilux F1.7 / 10-25mm ASPH. fully exploits the potential of the Micro-FourThirds standard by allowing large wide-angle shots despite its high speed, while remaining unusually compact. It has exceptionally high imaging performance throughout the Zoom range of 20-50 mm (35 mm 35mm format) and is suitable for a wide range of everyday shooting situations - from dynamic landscapes to portraits.
With its consistently high 1.7 - speed, the Leica lens enables a high degree of cropping and effortless low-light shots, as well as a dreamlike bokeh with nine diaphragm blades.
The lens system consists of 17 elements in 12 groups and features three aspherical lenses and four ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses that effectively suppress axial chromatic aberration and magnification chromatic aberration. The use of aspherical lenses and the optimal design of the lens system result in a compact size and light weight with excellent optical performance.
The lens is additionally particularly recommended for video recording. It is compatible with the high-speed precision contrast AF system of the current LUMIX G cameras with a maximum data exchange rate of 240 fps. At the same time, the Leica DG Vario-Summilux lens is equipped with a click-free aperture ring that enables direct, smooth control of the aperture.
The lens also features a "focus clutch" mechanism that allows the focus ring to be set between two positions, once with and once without focus distance information. This allows for quick AF/MF changes and provides intuitive operability. The Leica DG Vario-Summilux F1.7 / 10-25mm ASPH. is also convincing when shooting video because it effectively reduces the effect of focus breathing.
Thanks to its robust, dust- and splash-proof design, the lens can also be used in poor weather conditions down to -10 degrees.
