Ich nutze das EF-85 an einer 7D m2. Positiv: Das Objektiv ist sehr scharf, der Fokus ist schnell und treffsicher (gefühlt sehr viel schneller als das EF-50 1.8), das Freistellpotenzial dank F1.8 sehr groß und der Preis ist super. Negativ: In vielen Aufnahmen sind deutliche magenta-farbene Farbsäume/CA zu sehen, insbesondere in Gegenlicht- und Kontrastmotiven. Bis jetzt ließ sich das aber automatisch mit Lightroom/Adobe Camera RAW in den Griff bekommen.

Das 85mm von Canon ist das perfekte Objektiv für ansprechende Portraitaufnahmen. Die Lichtstärke sorgt dafür, dass sich das Hauptmotiv wunderbar freistellen lässt. Die Farb- und Hauttöne wirken weich und natürlich, das Objektiv ist leicht und handlich und auch der Preis passt.
