The Irix Cine 11mm T4.3 is the full-frame cinematographic lens ready to capture 8K UHD resolution images. The extremely short focal length, straight image projection and large image circle of 43.3mm (for full frame format) make it one of the most outstanding video lenses on the market. Depending on the diagonal of the sensor, the lens can provide a moderate wide angle for classic wide-angle shooting or a super-panoramic image angle of 123 degrees in a 2.39:1 widescreen format. Irix 11mm T4.3's unique parameters provide a perspective not available in film optics, unleashing creativity in creating dynamic shots.

The same but different optics
The optical lens system is based on the new optical formula developed specifically for film purposes. It consists of 16 optical elements - four of which were made of high refractive index (HR) glass, three others have aspherical surfaces and the last two are made of low dispersion (ED) glass. The use of a large front lens and other special glass elements delivers razor-sharp movies with resolution up to 8K, while keeping the focus pump effect at its lowest level. The lens offers a large maximum T value of 4.3, which can be reduced to T22 thanks to the rounded shape of the aperture blades.

Functional and highly innovative
In developing the mechanical lens system for 11 mm T4.3, we used newly generated technical solutions that were successfully implemented in the Irix Cine 150 mm T3.0 lens. The new Multi Start Thread focusing mechanism enables quiet and precise focusing even under adverse weather conditions such as rain, humidity or extreme temperatures. The focusing ring gear rotates 180 degrees and has a focusing scale with metric or metric units, depending on the lens version.

Thanks to another innovative solution such as the adaptive ring, the Irix Cine 11mm T4.3 ensures excellent ergonomics of operation both by hand and with follow-focus mechanism. Moreover, despite the very short optical system layout, toothed rings with focus and iris have been placed at the same height as in other Irix Cine lenses - all for better ergonomics and intuitive use.

Exceptional functionality and innovative solutions are the hallmarks of all Irix products. The same applies to the Irix Cine 11mm T4.3, whose extremely compact design (weight 1.1 kg) has also been equipped with an innovative Magnetic Mount System (MMS) for accessories. The MMS system allows for quick and easy attachment of various accessories. The lens hood included in the kit with the lens is the first element of the MMS system. The system will be expanded with additional accessories in the future.
