This tele-Zoom from Tamron is the further development of the SP 150-600mm (A011) from 2013. Thanks to some improvements you get a first-class optics. The optics consists of 21 elements in 13 groups incl. three LD elements that almost completely eliminate chromatic aberrations.

Reflections are prevented by special coatings. This eliminates unwanted stray light and effectively prevents ghost images. The closest focusing distance has been improved compared to its predecessor, reducing it to 2.2 meters. The USD motor operates very quietly and quickly, so that even distant and fast-moving subjects can be captured precisely. The optical image stabilization compensates for camera shake and produces sharp images.

For outdoor use, the lens is protected against dust and splash water thanks to special fluorine coating. With the Flex Zoom Lock mechanism, the Zoom can be locked in any position. By simply sliding the Zoomring, this can prevent unintentional Zooming.

With this teleconverter, you will be able to use your lens 150-600mm, for example, in a more versatile way. The "TC-X20" extends the maximum focal length to double, while the minimum focusing distance remains about the same. The teleconverter has been manufactured to a high quality so that the first-class lens image quality is maintained.

With an LD lens, aberrations are suppressed and reflections and flare are avoided thanks to the BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating. With compatible lenses, you can still use the lens' image stabilizer or autofocus. The special seals protect against moisture and dust penetration, so you get a reliable partner even outdoors.

The teleconverter tube is made entirely of die-cast aluminum and features a stainless steel mount on the lens side and a brass bayonet mount, so you get excellent durability.
