The Sekonic LITEMASTER PRO L-478 series meters are the world's best light meters with touch screen operation. They have a number of unique, must-have features for still and motion counters. Their compact size makes them instantly familiar and comfortable to use. A large LCD display (2.7") shows environmental, flash and movie information, as well as a variety of other information, clearly and understandably. Adjustments are made by simply touching or moving a finger across the screen.

The L-478 gauges can be configured using the Sekonic Data Transfer software and either Sekonic or X-Rite Brand Targets, or by manually entering data into the DTS program or on the meter itself to quickly calibrate to your camera.

Keeping pace with wireless advancements, the L-478DR-PX comes complete with exclusive Phottix wireless triggering technology that combines light metering with triggering as selected channels and groups for amazing control in the palm of your hand. .
The L-478DR-PX has a radio module and antenna built into the meter. The system transmits at 2.4 GHz and uses the Phottix Strato II signal protocol that can trigger channels (1-4) and groups (A,B,C,D) to trigger any flash or studio flash connected to a Phottix Strato, Strato II, Ares II or Atlas II receiver, as well as a Phottix Mitros±flash or an Indra 500/360TTL flash set to receive Strato II. When shooting, photographers can choose from several Phottix transmitters, including the Strato II , Ares II , Odin or Odin II.
