New, more powerful hardware enables improved image quality and pushes the limits of the 384 x 288 sensors even further. The new AMOLED display with 1,024 x 786 pixels improves contrast and color reproduction for a more detailed image with less noise in the background and sharper edges

Extra long battery life

an impressively long battery life of 8 hours, the ZEISS DTI 3 GEN 2 offers enough charging capacity for two to four birding trips. The Auto Shutoff function saves battery power: the DTI switches off automatically after a freely selectable period of time as long as there is no interaction with the thermal imaging camera.

Different environmental situations require different device settings. The DTI 3 GEN 2 has three pre-programmed observation modes: Universal, Detect and Fog.
