The X3 is changing the way content creators approach the creative process. Videos can be edited in an infinite number of different ways by first shooting them in 360° and reframing them later. This makes it easier than ever to capture the best moments, whether you're chasing a big wave or landing a difficult trick. Simply pick up the camera, start recording and align everything later in the Insta360 app. Thanks to 360° recording, a 4:5 Instagram post becomes a 9:16 TikTok video with one tap, without cutting anything off the image.

The 360° video quality of the X3 has also improved with the new Active HDR mode, which is supported by the camera's new 1/2" sensor. Active HDR uses an innovative algorithm to stabilize action shots, minimize ghosting and detect details that other action cams miss in overexposed and underexposed areas

dual lens design enables effects such as the invisible selfie stick. Here, the stick is automatically cropped out of the footage, creating impossible third-person views. With the new first-person mode, epic invisible selfie shots can now be taken at 60 frames per second without reframing. Improved image quality

The Insta360 X3's 1/2" sensor offers significantly improved resolution and image quality compared to its predecessor. If you already have a clear idea for your content that only requires one angle of view, the single lens mode is unbeatable. Now with 4K resolution, this mode delivers even higher resolution and is perfect for experiencing the action from a first-person perspective, especially when shooting with the camera at chest level. The new 170° MaxView ultra-wide angle view is now available in 2.7K for even more immersive POVs

The X3 offers the most megapixels ever found in a 360° action cam with 72MP photos for ultra-detailed stills. 8K 360° time-lapse is perfect for city and landscape shots

Bullet Time, the matrix-like slow motion effect made possible by panning the camera in a circle overhead, has also been improved in resolution and frame rates to 4K 120 fps and 3K 180 fps

Ready for action

The X3's six-axis gyro and FlowState stabilization ensure that videos remain ultra-stable through all the action. Where other action cams reach their limits at 45°, 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level, even when the camera is turned upside down.

The Insta360 X3 is waterproof to 10m and a lens protector is available for action sports enthusiasts who want to test their limits

Even if you don't know when the action will happen, the X3 will capture it. The new loop recording mode turns the X3 into a dashcam that continuously records video but only saves the last few minutes at a set interval, saving valuable memory card space.

INSTA360 X3 Invisible immersion housing

Thanks to the innovative technology of the INSTA360 immersion housing, the underside remains completely invisible in 360° shots. The housing efficiently corrects the refraction of light under water to prevent deformation and visible seams. The result is a completely invisible housing that does not cover any elements in the 360° shots. The underwater stitching is seamless and the housing is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters.
