Tripod is as good as can be expected for the price, and the fact it ships with three different mounting options (flat plate, center column, 75mm bowl) makes it a lot more versatile. Not as sturdy or high as Berlebach Report 422, but far more compact and less than half the weight.

The only disappointment was that one of the legs is missing a leg sleeve, while pictures show sleeves on all legs. It was one of the reasons I ended up buying R-3213X instead of few other options. Having a foam sleeve in all legs would make the tripod much more comfortable to handle in extreme cold and would also serve to protect the legs.
