The ergonomic HLD-9 battery holder in a frost-proof (-10 °C) as well as dust- and splash-proof design is particularly practical and reliable in combination with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II. With the HLD-9, the photographer has a powerful BLH-1 lithium-ion battery in the camera and another in the battery holder. The HLD-9 battery holder has the same arrow keys, two dials, and two function keys on the back as on the camera, so there's virtually no difference in controls whether you're using the camera in landscape or portrait mode.

The optional AC-5 power supply is great for studio shooting or other situations where the camera will be used for extended periods of time. This way, you don't have to worry about the battery level. You can also attach the optional GS-5 grip strap to optimize ergonomics when using a telephoto lens. The shoulder strap can also be attached at the same time.
