The EF-EOS R lens adapter (for drop-in filters) offers the same functionality as the EF-EOS R lens adapter with the addition of the ability to attach drop-in filters.
This eliminates the need to attach the filter to the front of the lens, which is especially beneficial when using wide-angle lenses with a large front lens.
Connect your existing EF or EF-S lenses to your EOS R system camera with this special bayonet adapter. In addition to the adapter function, this EF-EOS R bayonet adapter features a circular-pole insert filter that reduces the image of reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass, or airborne debris while increasing color saturation. The Canon EOS R adapters are protected from dust and splashing water, making them ideal for field use.
