Cotton Carrier Steady Shot for Harness
Frame for extending a Camera Harness to a chest tripod for stable camera work
The Steady Shot folding frame can be used to extend a Camera Harness to a chest tripod. The chest stand provides an important resting point, which facilitates stable camera work. And this in turn helps to ensure wobble-free shots. This feature makes the Steady Shot stand a valuable tool for nature photographers who take telephoto shots of shy wild animals and birds. The same applies to shots in the dark that require long exposure times. Both scenarios require the use of a tripod, but this is usually associated with low mobility. The combination of the Steady Shot and the Camera Harness combines the stability of a tripod with high mobility. The Camera Harness can also be an important aid in the video sector when extended to a chest tripod. Here it fulfills the same function as a Steadycam tripod
. 1/4-inch threaded holes and 1/4-inch screw for attaching couplings or tilts
The base plate of the Steady-Shot stand is equipped with various 1/4-inch threaded holes. Almost any quick-release couplings, ball heads or video panheads can be attached to the base plate using the 1/4-inch screw provided.
Is attached to the holder on the front of the Camera Harness
The Steady-Shot frame is inserted into the holder on the front of the Camera Harness in the same way as the camera adapters. Unlike the camera adapter, the mounting piece of the frame does not click into place. However, the holder acts as a guide rail, which prevents the frame from turning to the side.
Two joints with clamping screws for individual height adjustment
The Steady Shot frame has two joints that can be used to adjust the frame so that the camera is exactly at eye level. Both joints are equipped with clamping screws for fixing. Each clamping screw has a long lever, which makes it easier to operate. A special feature is that the clamping levers can be adjusted within 360° independently of the clamp. Thanks to this option, the levers can always be aligned for optimum operation, regardless of the position from which they are accessed.
