They can be combined with the backpack strap and worn as a hip bag or attached to the harness of your backpack with optional accessory straps. They are the most adaptable bags in the Shimoda range. All Top Loaders have an expandable base so you can carry professional lenses up to 70-200mm/100-400mm. The smalle size is ideal for body and lens, and each size above small has an additional vertical compartment for one or more additional lenses.

These bags are also ideal for Mavic and smaller sized drones. Top Loaders are made of durable, weatherproof materials, so all your gear is protected even in bad weather. Top Loaders are an efficient way to store camera equipment. They allow you to carry less weight and bulk than with Shimoda's typical core units, and have the added benefit of being able to be carried in a variety of ways independent of the backpack. Shimoda Top Loaders are sized to fit camera bodies without a handle with lenses up to 70-200/100-400mm as well as drones up to the size of a DJI Mavic. All sizes come with vertical dividers that allow you to achieve a perfect fit for your equipment.

Versatile, modular protection

Top Loaders can be used as protective camera inserts in your Shimoda backpack and can also be carried independently as a shoulder/shoulder bag. They can be worn with the backpack's belt as a waist pack or attached to the backpack's carrying system with optional accessory straps. They are the most adaptable bags in the Shimoda range.

Expandable for telephoto lenses

The base zips open and expands to accommodate lenses up to 70-200mm f/2.8 and 100-400mm.

Front pocket

The zippered front pocket allows you to store smaller items such as lens cloths, lens caps and other flat accessories.

The Top Loaders are made from the same lightweight, water-repellent materials as our backpack ranges. The black colorway is made from the same material as the Action X and Explore backpacks, while Boa is made from our Urban Explore textile.
