The Travel Backpack 30L has the same structure and design as its "big brother" with 45 liters, but is slightly narrower and more compact. This makes it ideal for weekend trips and handy enough to also cut a fine figure as a daypack. In short - an ideal combination of flexibility and volume. It is also better suited as hand luggage - and with strong carrying handles at the top and bottom, it is always firmly under control.

Space for up to three packing cubes

Nevertheless, the main compartment offers space for three packing cubes - or one medium camera cube and one packing cube (the 45L version offers additional space for extras such as a tech or wash pouch). The entire main compartment is accessible via the large back flap with a circumferential zipper - the best way to pack the backpack like a suitcase and much more organized than conventional backpacks with top-down access. The position of the lid on the back is also like a built-in anti-theft device when you're on the move.

Compression zipper for adjusting the pack volume

To offer even more flexibility, the Travel Backpack has a compression zipper on the top. This allows you to vary the volume between 27 and 33 liters. There are press studs on the inside of the backpack to keep it folded in.

Comfortable fit: ergonomic shoulder straps with swivel joints

The Backpack 30L has ergonomic shoulder straps with swivel joints that ensure an optimum fit on the body. A short chest strap is also included, which can be used to connect the two shoulder straps crosswise at chest height, allowing the backpack to sit even more securely on the body. A length-adjustable hip belt is also available as a separate accessory. This transfers part of the weight of the backpack to the hip area to further relieve the back. If you want to carry the backpack by hand, stow it away or attach it to a luggage trolley, the shoulder straps won't get in the way: thanks to a folding back padding, they simply disappear underneath and remain fixed in place with sewn-in magnetic strips.

Versatile extra compartments

Carrying a water bottle or tripod? There are large slots on each side. There is space for devices up to 15 inches in the laptop compartment on the lid flap. At the top, there is a practical zippered compartment with pockets for sunglasses, headphones and similar items that need to be within easy reach without cluttering up the rest of your luggage. More luggage than planned? No need to worry! The included cord hook carrying straps give the bag additional carrying capacity: Simply snap the adjustable carrying straps onto the sides. Tripods and other items can be securely attached to the outside and carried along. When you are not using this feature, the straps can be stored in a hidden storage compartment.
