What makes the Aurora PRO stand out?

The Aurora PRO is part of the popular SiOnyx Aurora series: four compact night vision devices that are the first on the market to be able to process the environment at night in color. Compared to the other models, the Aurora PRO does even more than that. The lens lets through three times as much light, and the internal CMOS sensor results in an even higher light output (and therefore a greater viewing distance). With Aurora PRO, you can still see at night with a minimum of residual light. The surroundings are projected onto a full-color OLED display, which can also be set to monochrome to create additional contrast. The camera has an optical magnification of 0.5x with a large field of view of 44 degrees. With a digital Zoom you can magnify the surroundings up to 3x further.

Recordings

You can take photos and videos to record situations. You can use modes such as HDR, loop mode, time-lapse, panorama and burst mode for perfect shots. Your photos and videos are stored on the included 32 GB microSD card.

Remote control and real-time image sharing

Via a Wi-Fi connection, you can also control Aurora PRO remotely and view/share live images up to a distance of approx. 15 meters. To do this, use the free app for iOS and Android (available in the PlayStore/AppStore as 'SiOnyx Aurora').

Multifunctional use

You can optimally adapt the use of the night vision device to the situation. For example, you can carry the night camera in your hand on your eye, control it remotely or use it hands-free by attaching it to a helmet or head system. In addition, the night vision device can be used at any time of day or night, at dusk and during the day. Thanks to its IP67 certification, you can also use the camera in bad weather conditions without any worries. This means that the device can withstand a fall onto concrete from a height of 1 meter, is completely dustproof and will not collapse even when immersed in water.

Explorer Kit accessories

In some situations, there may be no residual light at all. In this case, you can use the supplied 940nm infrared illuminator (IR glow invisible) with this PRO EXPLORER. This also increases your viewing distance. You can attach the IR illuminator to any Weaver/Picatinny mount (e.g. on a helmet or hunting rifle) or use it in your hand to provide additional light. The IR can be switched on and off manually if the situation requires it. You also get all sorts of smaller accessories, such as a 32 GB microSD card, two batteries with charger and a holder and battery for the IR illuminator. You can take it all with you safely and easily in the waterproof carrying case. If you want to mount the device on a weapon, you can use the included Weaver/Picatinny rail mount.
