Sehr schönes und kompaktes Glas. Quälfest und ein prima scharfes und kontrastreiches Bild. Auch für mich als Brillenträger schön mit dem anpassbaren Augenabstand. Gute Dämmerungsleistung. Ich führe es auf Jagd.
Wir suchten einen "Upgrade" für unser preiswertes 100 € Glas. Das Terra-Testexemplar im Laden bei Fotogena schien alle Punkte zu erfüllen, Haptik, optische Qualitäten, Einblickverhalten, der schnelle und leichtgängige Fokus, der sich zumindest am Zeiss SFL+Victory orientiert, das ganze zu einem akzeptablen Preis, so dass auch made in China ok ist/made in Germany kaum möglich.
Leider war das dann im Versand bestellte Exemplar mangelhaft in Fokus (extrem schwergängig und hakelig) und Augenmuscheln (eine Muschel stand nach dem Herausdrehen 6(!)mm weiter als die andere heraus und beide viel zu leichtgängig).
Ein qualitativ einwandfreies Terra zu erhalten scheint eher ein Glücksspiel, wie haben uns daher zu einem SFL mit spürbar besserer Qualität und Qualitätssicherung entschieden.
Wie schon im Titel geschrieben, die optischen Eigenschaften sind tadellos, aber das Handling ist für mich mangelhaft, habe es nach kürzerster Zeit bei Fotogena im Laden enttäuscht wieder aus der Hand gelegt.
Der Fokus ist im Vergleich zu modernen Gläsern langsam und zu schwergängig, die Augenmuscheln sind zu billig&hakelig&leichtgängig (alles drei). Der größte Schwachpunkt für mich persönlich ist das Einblickverhalten, es treten so leicht wie bei keinem anderen mir bekannten/je probierten Glas Verschattungen auf bzw. es ist so schwer wie bei keinem anderen, diese zu vermeiden. Für Freihandnutzung für mich ungenügend.
Daher in meinen Augen insgesamt nur noch zwei Sterne wert, seit es Gläser wie das SFL gibt, die in allen diesen Punkten perfekt sind und nur wenig teurer (Stand Sommer 2023). Aktuell Ende 2023 ist das Conquest 200€ billiger oder gar dauerhaft reduziert, dann vielleicht 2,5 Sterne, nichtsdestotrotz ist es für mich nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit.
