Easy editing of 360° shots with the GoPro Quik app

The GoPro Quik app offers numerous functions that allow you to share your 360° shots as impressive stories. Object tracking locks onto your subject and automatically follows them wherever they move in your 360° shot. You can convert your 360° shots to standard video, extract still images and add dramatic transition effects to get just the right shot, which you can then share directly from the app.

Invisible mount Capture

amazing moments with a pole mount, which is then completely hidden in the shot. Attach the MAX to a handle or extension pole using the 1/4-20 thread on the bottom of the camera. The pole is automatically removed from your videos and photos during stitching. This way you can easily take shots of yourself that look like someone else took them, or film yourself from a bird's eye view like with a drone

In single lens mode (HERO) you can take standard videos, photos and time-lapse recordings like with our HERO cameras. For videos, you can choose between 1080p (for widescreen playback on your smartphone or TV) and 1440p (for higher and more immersive POV shots) resolutions.

With Max HyperSmooth video stabilization, you can capture incredibly smooth single-lens shots, no matter how much your camera is shaken or rotated during shooting. Digital lenses

For the best shot, you can choose between four digital lenses in single lens mode (HERO) - depending on whether you want to capture stunning POV shots or picturesque landscapes. You can simply tap and swipe to switch between Narrow, Linear, Wide and the ultra-wide Max Superview lenses.

Ready to share

In single lens mode (HERO), you can capture videos and photos in both widescreen (landscape) and portrait format. Widescreen recordings are ideal for full-screen playback on YouTube or a TV. Shoot in portrait mode if you want to share your footage on social media.

Live streaming in 1080p

Go live in single lens mode (HERO) and let everyone else join in. Stream live at 1080p on social media, use Max HyperSmooth stabilization when broadcasting via the GoPro Quik app and save your footage to your SD card for later viewing.

Voice control

Take hands-free shots using 12 voice commands such as "Start GoPro recording" or "Take GoPro photo". The MAX understands English (US, UK, Australia and India), Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Europe and Latin America) and Swedish.

GPS and measurement data stickers²

GoPro 1.2m Extension Pole Extension Pole

This extension pole is made of lightweight and durable aluminum and is waterproof so you can capture your favorite activities on land and in the water. When you attach a 360° camera (optionally available) directly to the 1/4-20 mount, the pole is not visible in the shot. This allows you to take incredible selfie shots that look like someone else is holding the camera. Also included is an eyelet adapter that easily attaches to the pole's 1/4-20 mount. Use it with GoPro cameras to tilt the camera and enjoy maximum flexibility for traditional shots.
