The thermal cover lowers the surface temperature of the X5, making it more comfortable to hold and allowing you to shoot longer 8K recordings.
*The Insta360 X5 enables high-resolution video recording, which increases energy consumption and can heat up the camera. This is normal and expected.

Best materials for optimal performance

Made from graphene-based phase change materials (PCCs) to effectively reduce the temperature of the camera by up to 7°C.
