The Connect features world-class imaging hardware with two 4K cameras. The setup consists of a wide-angle camera with a 1/1.3" CMOS sensor and a gimbal telephoto camera. The two work perfectly hand in hand and provide unparalleled meeting imaging with both group images and individual close-ups in 4K. Thanks to the wider angle, 48 MP telephoto lens and integrated gimbal, people on the other side of the room are just as visible as those sitting directly in front of the camera.

And to further optimize the Connect's imaging, there's AI Resolution+, an advanced machine-learning algorithm that ensures lifelike clarity. AI Resolution+ improves image quality and detail, with the person speaking displayed at twice the resolution for clearer communication.

The Connect also outperforms its competitors in terms of sound recording quality with the industry-leading array of 14 microphones and the 3A audio algorithm. In large rooms and meeting spaces, on-site participants often have problems with voice transmission, unclear sound and uneven volume, while online participants struggle with strong echo and reverberation, making it difficult to follow the discussion.

The Connect's 14 omnidirectional microphones accurately capture voices from every corner of the room. At the same time, the innovative 3A algorithm eliminates unwanted noise and echoes and picks up voices from a much greater distance than other video bars
(up to 10 m) with balanced volume, outstanding clarity and natural, immersive sound. No matter how close or far away the participants are from the Connect, they can be heard loud and clear.

The adaptive audio system eliminates unwanted noise and effects for uninterrupted meetings. Intelligent noise reduction technology analyzes your acoustic environment in real time to remove background noise and reverberation so everyone can stay focused without distractions. . 8K Gallery Mode uses proprietary AI algorithms to ensure that all participants receive an individual window in industry-leading 8K resolution - with a maximum of eight windows simultaneously. Even if a person accidentally moves out of the picture in gallery mode, the Connect will find them within three seconds to display them again.

Another key advantage of the Connect is its tracking functions. Conventional cameras use traditional sound localization technology that only detects the general direction of the person speaking, making it difficult for online participants to identify exactly who is speaking. The Insta360 Connect solves this problem with lecture tracking, a multimodal tracking algorithm that not only localizes the person speaking during the lecture, but also zooms in on them. Using sound localization as well as intelligent voice, face, body and lip recognition technology, Connect tracks the person speaking precisely and focuses on them with immense accuracy. Furthermore, multi-person tracking keeps track of all participants and enables quick and precise transitions between speakers.

In addition, the Connect has a range of versatile modes for smoother presentations and easier operation:

• The smooth-running, built-in swivel joint allows maximum freedom of movement to adjust the angle flexibly
• .TV mount - A tidy setup that presents the whole team together with full room coverage. The TV mount is compatible with most TV sizes and has an additional hook for flexible positioning above or below the screen. Thanks to the multifunctional arm and VESA support, it is compatible with up to 100" screens mounted on the wall or on a stand, regardless of the aspect ratio. The mount can also be adjusted forwards or backwards to benefit from the perfect screen angle for every meeting.
