The night vision system displays images at night in vivid daylight colors and has extremely high light output, even in situations with minimal residual light. With Sionyx Nightwave you can see everything and no longer need expensive systems.

The night camera has a proprietary, patented Black Silicon CMOS sensor with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels (60hz). This sensor uses the available residual light (stars, full moon or clear sky) to display visible images at night. With a sensitivity of <1 millilux, you get an incredibly clear image even with little starlight. With the Nightwave, you can see a person at night at a distance of up to 150 meters. The large 40-degree field of view increases your awareness of your surroundings and enables you to recognize unexpected ships and other obstacles in good time. Thanks to the IP67 protection class - it is shockproof and can be submerged to a depth of 90 cm for 30 minutes - the Nightwave can be used safely even in the most extreme weather conditions.

The Nightwave is wired and can be operated remotely. The device has an analog output (NTSC/PAL). This allows you to connect it directly to displays that support an analog video input. These are, for example, multifunctional displays from various well-known brands. Use the supplied cable for this connection. It is also possible to stream images to your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi using the free SIONYX app. You can take photos and videos from your own device. The Nightwave streams in 1080x720 HD at 30 frames per second.

On the underside, the camera is equipped with a standard 1/4" female threaded connection with which you can attach the Nightwave to numerous tripods and clamps (see optional accessories). The camera can also be mounted upside down, whereby the software automatically rotates the displayed image by 180 degrees. Power is supplied via USB or via the supplied video output cable (12Vdc), which you connect to the MFD. The viewing angle of the Nightwave can only be adjusted manually in height.
