Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 for Sony FE

Extra fast wide-angle lens with highest imaging quality, perfect for landscape and astrophotography

With a focal length of 24mm, you'll capture large subjects with ease! The impressive angle of view of 83.7° on full frame and 60.9° on APS-C gives you plenty of freedom in image composition. Thanks to its special features, high speed, uniform imaging performance and excellent resolution right to the edge of the shot, the Samyang 24mm F1.8 is ideally suited for astrophotography and landscape photography. It was specifically designed for mirrorless Sony Alpha E-mount cameras. The high speed of 1:1.8 allows a lot of light to reach the sensor, so that even in dark shooting situations you can work without flash and freehand. Thanks to the particularly high light intensity, this lens is also suitable for indoor shooting.

Programmable custom switch, LED indicator for focus at infinity and another revolutionary special feature for astrophotography

The programmable custom switch can be assigned with an astromode. This switch allows you to choose between two settings. For the astromode, it can be assigned with manual focus. As a first for this lens, the Samyang 24mm F1.8 can also be automatically focused to infinity with the push of a button on the Focus Hold button. An LED indicator on the side of the lens gives a green light when focusing has been successful. The factory pre-calibrated focus setting to infinity can be recalibrated by the user, overwriting the factory setting. This function is particularly useful for astrophotography, as it is difficult to focus automatically in the dark.
