The α7C incorporates the same AF optimizations as the acclaimed α9. In addition to 4D FOCUS for fast subject acquisition and stable tracking over a wide area, 693 AF phase detection points cover approximately 93% of the image area.

Never miss a moment, even in fast-paced scenes

To better capture subjects in motion, the α7C offers continuous shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking and up to 8 fps in Live View mode. It also supports silent shooting at up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking.

AI-based tracking and AF with real-time eye detection from Sony

As with previous models, you simply need to half-press the shutter button once you point the camera at your subject to start AF with real-time eye detection. With the α7C, real-time tracking can be used without AF-C mode via the AF-ON button, so you can get started right away. The camera focuses reliably even when wearing glasses or when your face is partially obscured.

Remote shooting via mobile devices and PCs

Thanks to the α7C's Wi-Fi function, you can set up the camera farther away for selfies or vlogs. Control via PC, smartphone, or tablet - including previewing, adjusting settings, or pressing the shutter button.

SmallRig 3212 Cage with side grip for Sony A7C

SmallRig 3212Cage with Side Grip for Sony A7C camera is designed to provide mounting points for accessories such as monitors, microphones and LED lights when shooting professional video. It comes with an integrated silicone grip that is ergonomically shaped to improve grip feel. The cage secures the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw on the bottom. To prevent the camera from rotating, you can also use the right side lock by sliding the slider up and attaching the small screw to the strap hole of the camera.

The cage has several 1/4''-20 threaded holes and ARRI 3/8" -16 mounting holes that allow you to mount the Top Handle 2165, Cold Shoe Extension 2879, and Tripod BUT2664 for vlog recording; the top built-in Cold Shoe is suitable for microphones and LED lights; the bottom built-in Arca Quick Release Plate fits DJI RS 2/ RSC 2 gimbals for quick switching between handheld and stabilizer shooting. There is also a built-in magnetic screwdriver on the bottom of the cage for easy use. The cage blends seamlessly into the camera without blocking the battery cover, display, card slot and buttons. The original functions of the camera are fully preserved.
