Nisi 150mm Filter Kit Professional Kit Medium
Natural Night
The NiSi Natural Night Filter is a filter specially developed for night photography. Mercury vapor lamps, sodium vapor lamps and street lights with a low color rendering index contain many unwanted wavelengths of light that pollute the night sky. The glow from these lights can prevent your camera from seeing the sky properly and affect your night shots. The Nisi Natural Night Filter blocks these wavelengths of light, reducing the incoming light by 1 f-stop and preserving the clarity of your night shots.
IR ND gray filter
NiSi neutral density (ND) filters are used to evenly reduce the amount of light entering the lens. ND filters allow for greater motion blur and detail by allowing a wide aperture and slow shutter speed. They are also useful when the contrast between the highlights and shadows is too great to achieve a high quality exposure.
Medium IR GND8
The NiSi 150x170mm Medium IR GND8 - 3 Stops is a rectangular filter that darkens certain areas of the image, such as bright skies, while leaving other areas of the image unexposed
. The filter is densest at the edges and becomes brighter towards the center, with a medium transition between the dense and bright areas. A neutral density filter with a medium transition is particularly suitable for taking pictures of buildings, small mountains and other objects that extend far into the sky. The transition zone of a medium filter is 40 % smaller than that of a soft GND filter and is ideal for taking pictures at sunrise and sunset.
Reverse IR GND8
The 150x170mm Reverse IR GND filter from Nisi was specially developed for landscape photographers. This filter is particularly impressive for sunrise and sunset photography, which can often be a challenge.
The Nisi Reverse ND filter is designed so that it is dark in the middle and becomes increasingly lighter towards the top, while the lower area remains transparent. This prevents overexposure of the horizon.
True-to-life colors
The NiSi GND and ND filters do not affect the coloration of the image, offer true-to-life colors and are made of high-quality optical Schott glass with multi-layer nano-coating to ensure the preservation of every single detail.
Infrared coating
When using gray filters, the camera can become susceptible to infrared light, which can cause an unwanted red cast in photos with small apertures. The NiSi GND filters have an infrared protective coating that blocks infrared light through the lens, ensuring natural, true-to-life color reproduction.
