With an additional layer of black speckle, this filter ensures little loss of detail in the image compared to traditional diffusion filters. The nano-coating on this filter is waterproof and anti-reflective, making it suitable for any type of photography. This filter can be used with the Swift System adapter ring or attached to the NiSi True Color VND 1-5 stops/5- 9 stops for even more light protection.

This filter has no thread on the lens side*, as NiSi has developed a new push-to-fit system to easily and "quickly" fit the NiSi Black Mist 1/4 filter to your TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 1-5 stops (0.3-1.5), or stack it with the True Color ND16 4 stops, or use it alone with the optional adapter ring for the Swift system.

*Thread is only on the front of the filter, if the photographer or videographer wants to stack another threaded filter, they must use the correct thread engraved on the filter
