AstrHori 14mm f4.5 for Canon EF
The AstrHori 14mm f/4.5 ultra wide-angle lens is an extremely flat so-called "pancake" lens at just 22mm. As an ultra-wide-angle lens for APS-C cameras, its focal length of 14mm corresponds to a 21mm wide angle in relation to the 35mm format. Despite the large angle of view of 85 degrees, it is virtually distortion-free thanks to an aspherical lens.
The design with 6 elements in 5 groups ensures very good sharpness, which is excellent in the center of the image. It is ideal for architectural and landscape photography. As it weighs only 120 grams, it can also be used very well for drone photography. Thanks to the 55mm filter thread, screw-in filters can be attached without any problems. The distance setting is manual. With a fixed aperture of 4.5, however, the depth of field is so great that the focus does not have to be set very precisely.
