The 7.5mm f2 lens by LAOWA for MFT drone is exceptionally lightweight and impresses with excellent speed.
Extreme wide-angle lens with f/2.0 speed for MFT cameras. It is highly light-intense and enables extreme wide-angle shots, corresponding to a 15mm wide-angle lens on 35mm cameras. In addition to these optical data, special emphasis was placed on an ultra-compact design as well as a very low weight. Thus, this weight-optimized version for drone photography weighs just about 150g and is extremely small for a high-speed super wide-angle with 55mm length and 50mm diameter.
The optical construction consists of 13 elements in 9 groups with 2 aspherical elements and 3 extra-ring refractive elements. This reduces distortion as well as chromatic aberration to a minimum while providing excellent optical performance from image corner to image corner. The extreme angle of view of 110° and the extremely high speed f/2.0 allow impressive photos even in low light such as landscape shots at dusk.
Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual. The filter thread of 46mm allows the use of small filters even with this angle of view.
