The Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports has high optical quality, a robust design and excellent handling. Features that professional photographers and demanding amateurs need. Nine FLD ("F" Low Dispersion) glass elements and one SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element are included for excellent color aberration correction - for a total of ten exclusive, low-dispersion glass elements. Extremely high resolution is achieved from the center of the image to the corners, enabling the lens to meet the most demanding requirements of professional photographers under a wide range of shooting conditions. Spherical aberration optimization ensures soft and natural bokeh, making the lens ideal for portrait photography.
Customization options to enhance usability
Various functions can be assigned to an AF function button. Functions other than AF lock can also be assigned to it via the camera menu or with the optional SIGMA USB dock*2. Depending on the user's preferences, it expands the shooting styles. The tripod clamp is made of lightweight yet sturdy magnesium alloy, and the 90° detent makes it easy to switch from portrait to landscape mode or vice versa. The lens attaches directly to an Arca Swiss clamp.

Magnesium is used to make the lens lightweight and rugged at the same time, ensuring high mobility.
Dust- and splash-proof construction
As a Sports line lens, it is dust- and splash-proof, and together with the water- and oil-repellent coating on the front lens, it ensures safe use even in the most difficult shooting conditions.
Accelerometer allows you to pull along during shooting
The SIGMA 70-200mm F2.8 DG OS HSM Sports also features an intelligent OS*1 that allows you to pull along in all directions thanks to the use of an accelerometer and the latest algorithm. Using HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor), also with updated algorithm, the high-speed autofocus detects any subject movement without delay.
*1 Thanks to the image stabilization function, movements of subjects can be captured in mode 2 without loss of the pull-along effect - regardless of the position of the lens, whether the camera is moved horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
Brass bayonet
The lens is equipped with a solid and precise brass bayonet. The special treatment of the surface to reinforce strength allows for long-lasting use.
Reflection and Ghost Eliminating Design
The Super Multi-Layer Coating (SML)eliminatesreflections and ghosting. This provides sharp, high-contrast images across the Zoom range.

Erstmal Großes Lob an Das Team von Foto Erhardt. Top Kundenservice ;-) Zum Sigma Erst war es der haben wollen Reflex , dann Hass-Liebe wegen des doch Hohen Gewichtes, aber dann als es an der RP Angedockt hatte und ich dachte so ja "Schöne Schärfe aber das Gewicht" als ich die Bilder auf dem Rechner hatte war es dann vorbei das Bokeh hat mich umgehauen auf VF (Eos RP) dann musste ich das doch gleich mit APSC (Eos 90D) testen und auch hier war es einfach genial was diese Linse abliefert. Schärfe Top. tolle Bokeh, der Objektiv Body selber liegt richtig gut in der Hand. Als Tipp an der RP auf Jeden Fall einen Batteriegriff bestellen dann macht das 70-200 erst richtig Spaß weil die Kamera noch besser in der Hand liegt, Für die 90D kann ich die Anschaffung eines Batteriegriffs bei der Nutzung des Sigma 70-200 Sport ebenfalls Empfehlen. Ich kann jeden Nikon und Canon Fotografen das teil nur Empfehlen Egal ob APSC oder VF ob DSLR oder DSLM mit Adapter, Würde es sofort wieder kaufen. Video Verhalten kann ich nicht mit dienen ich filme nicht.

Muss sagen, super Objektiv, schöne scharfe Fotos. Bislang alle Objektive sehr gute Qualität.
Schneller Versand, super Service. Das ist nicht mein erster Kauf bei Foto Erhardt und ganz sicher nicht mein letzter! Zum Objektiv: Es ist wirklich schwer, aber es hat eine umwerfende Abbildungsleistung! Kontrastreich und superscharf - und das schon wirklich bei Offenblende. Die Bildstabilisierung funktioniert hervorragend. Absolute Empfehlung!!!
Das Sigma 70-200 Sport ist eine Absolute Bank von Objektiv ob APSC Sensor Vollformat ob DSLR oder DSLM es macht einfach Spaß damit zu shooten.
Tolle Schärfe, Mega Bokeh.
Ja das Gewicht spielt immer eine Rolle bei dem Objektiv aber gerade deshalb ist es so eine Tolle Linse weil sie liegt Extrem gut in der Hand.
Ich kann nur sagen es gehört gerade wegen seine Preises in jeden Fotorucksack.
Kleiner Tip Egal ob DSLR oder DSLM Probiert es mal mit Batteriegriff dann liegt das ganze noch besser in der Hand und macht Meiner Meinung nach noch mehr Spaß.
