SIRUI ADP125X Anarmophot Adapter 1.25x

Widescreen Filming like in the cinema - for spherical and anamorphic lenses

With the SIRUI 1.25x anamorphic adapter you widen the shots of your lenses without losses (cropping) in height and with spherical lenses you get the typical characteristics of a real anamorphic cinema lens, like backlight effects and lens effects (flares) and oval bokeh.

Spherical lens
When using a spherical lens (non-aspherical), the SIRUI 1.25x adapter will give you approx. 16:9 and at 16:9 approx. 20:9.

Anamorphic lens
When using an anamorphic lens, the squeeze factor of the lens is multiplied by the squeeze factor of the SIRUI adapter 1.25x. That is, 1.6x becomes 2.0x and 1.33x becomes 1.66x

The adapter can be used on lenses with 67, 72, 77, 82 and 92mm filter threads. It has an 82mm male thread for direct connection to lenses with an 82mm filter thread. Included are three step-down rings 82 -> 67mm / 82 -> 72mm / 82 -> 77mm and one step-up ring 82 -> 92mm.

The SIRUI adapter is equipped with a manual focus. The possibly existing autofocus of your lens must be deactivated and set to infinity, Then the focus is controlled manually via the adapter. The adapter is equipped with a gear ring for follow focus systems.

Note:
With anamorphic lenses or adapters, the image will be squeezed widthwise (squeeze). A camera with de-squeeze function or a monitor with de-squeeze function is required for viewing.
