The E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS super telephoto zoom lens with optimized optical and mechanical design delivers outstanding image quality across the entire image range, up to the maximum focal length of 350mm. The APS-C focal length range in this case is equivalent to 105-525mm in full-frame.
The lens combines high optical performance, even at 5x Zoom, with the convenience and portability of a compact, lightweight design. Built-in optical image stabilization ensures even more stability and comfort in this versatile super-telephoto zoom lens, making it the ideal equipment for landscape and nature photography.
An aspherical element and three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) elements provide excellent resolution right to the edge of the image. In addition, chromatic aberrations are suppressed and color blur is reduced. The soft bokeh familiar from the G series is made possible by the circular aperture.
Despite the enormous Zoomrange, the SEL-70350G has an extremely compact, and with a weight of only 625 grams, light design and is therefore particularly suitable for mobile use. This is also ensured by the dust and moisture resistant design. The advanced XD linear motor technology of Sony ensures fast autofocus with precise tracking of subjects in motion in this APS-C lens.
Excellent handling and reliability
Built-in SteadyShot optical image stabilization ensures sharp images, especially at super-tele focal lengths. The conveniently placed focus hold button, which can also be assigned numerous other functions via the camera body, makes handling the camera easy and convenient. The AF/MF focus selector switch on the lens makes it possible to quickly switch between auto and manual focus to meet different shooting needs. At the same time, the Zoomlock control prevents the lens from extending unintentionally during transport.

Vorgestern das Objektiv bestellt und gestern schon erhalten. Das war wirklich eine blitzschnelle Kaufabwicklung, wie ich sie selten erlebt habe. Das Objektiv war sehr gut verpackt und auch hier alles richtig gemacht. Ein Leichtgewicht - wenn man es mit den anderen Tele-Objektiven vergleicht. Die ersten Aufnahmen haben mich dann doch positiv überrascht. Der Autofokus reagiert super an meiner A 6000 und die Schärfe ist doch ein ganzes Stück besser als bei dem 55-210. Die Qualität der Fotos ist sehr gut und ich war wirklich überrascht, dass trotz der nicht ganz so lichtstarken Blende (im Vergleich zu den anderen Tele von Sony, die auch um einiges mehr kosten) die Fotos doch knackscharf geworden sind. Bin Hobbyfotografin und fotografiere überwiegend Tiere - und dafür ist für mich diese Tele absolut ausreichend. Kann es daher nur weiterempfehlen!

Ein sehr gelungener Kompromiss aus Größe, Gewicht und Preis. Ich nutze das Objektiv an der Sony Alpha 7 R III. Ich bin von der Bildqualität begeistert. Natürlich kann es das Sony 200-600 nicht ersetzen, aber auf Reisen eine sehr gute Alternative.
