The TAMRON 17-50mm F4 Di III VXD (model A068) is a versatile lens that covers a wide range of focal lengths, from 17mm at ultra-wide-angle to 50mm at standard. It is ideal for capturing vivid subject scenes. With a constant aperture of F4, the new TAMRON 17-50mm F4 is suitable for both photography and videography. The minimum focus distance is 0.19m at ultra-wide-angle and 0.3m at standard, expanding shooting possibilities and enabling the creation of stunning images in virtually any situation

Advanced optical performance with outstanding bokeh effect at F4 open aperture.

The optical construction consists of 15 lens elements in 13 groups. Three LD lenses one GM lens and two hybrid aspherical elements ensure correction of chromatic aberrations and other optical aberrations. The high resolving power ensures excellent detail reproduction from the center to the edges of the image. The lens also offers an excellent bokeh effect at open aperture F4, allowing close objects such as trees or flowers to stand out impressively from the background, even in landscape photography

Compact design and internal zoom mechanism for easy operation and outstanding balance

The 17-50mm F4 weighs only 460g and has a compact length of 114.4mm - when combined with a compact system camera of Sony, this makes for a well-balanced unit. The lens has an internal zoom mechanism, so the length of the tube does not change when Zooming. This makes it easier to balance the camera and lens when using with a video rig or gimbal. The lens construction is protected against moisture and the front lens has a dirt-repellent fluorine coating
