The Biogon T* 2,8/28 ZM shows high detail and no distortion even at the near limit and at full aperture. The optical design minimizes stray light or reflections and allows even bright light sources to be integrated into the image. The lens has the widest angle of view that can still be used with the integrated viewfinder of the Zeiss Ikon can be used. In addition, a high-quality 25/28 mm attachable viewfinder is available. In addition to travel photography, the Biogon T* 2,8/28 ZM is also well suited for group shots or interior design, especially in tight spaces or when wide-angle distortion needs to remain low.

A lens with such a wide angle of view that it can capture a great deal of the surrounding world in a single shot - this is what the name Biogon® originally meant. The largely symmetrical Biogon optics designs enable moderate to extreme wide-angle lenses of remarkable compactness for rangefinder cameras and mirrorless system cameras, for example. Distortion is exceptionally well corrected, as are chromatic properties and image field flattening.
