With a power range of 11 f-stops, the D30 is versatile and suitable for any situation, whether as the main light or to illuminate individual nuances of your subject.
Setting up the D30 is very simple and thanks to the intuitive user interface, you can be up and running in no time at all. Thanks to AirX connectivity, you can control the flash directly via the remote triggers on the camera or via the Profoto apps.
The D30 has three different flash modes: ECO for consistent colors and longer unit runtime; Boost for extra power; and Freeze for extremely short flash durations to avoid motion blur.
The D30 features a bi-color LED modeling light. This bright, energy-efficient light has an adjustable color temperature and video-quality color reproduction. In certain situations, when just a touch more brightness is needed, it can also be used as a continuous light; and thanks to the adjustable color temperature, it can be easily adapted to the ambient light. The D30 is compatible with Profoto's wide range of 100 mm diameter light shapers. Thanks to its robust construction, even the largest light shapers can be used without any problems.
