Aspherical lens, special glass with low dispersion
The use of an aspherical lens with high eccentricity and high refractive index as the first lens element has enabled an optical design with a reduced number of elements. In combination with other aspherical lenses and special low-dispersion glass, the lens produces high-resolution images while remaining compact and lightweight.

This ultra-wide-angle Zoom lens enables expressive close-ups at a focal length of 10 mm and a closest focusing distance of 11.6 cm. The maximum scale is 1:4, making it easy to find expressive creative perspectives.

Newly developed clip-on and tulip-shaped lens hood
The new lens hood is included with the lens. In contrast to the conventional bayonet lens hoods, which are attached with a twisting movement, this lens hood is simply clipped on. The implementation of this new design reduces the size and thickness of the lens hood so that it is consistent with the compact size of the lens.

Dust and splash-proof lens mount
The lens mount is equipped with a rubber lip to prevent the ingress of dust and water droplets

.Developed to minimize focus breathing
During the development of the lens, care was taken to reduce focus breathing to a minimum. The change in the image angle caused by a focus shift has been significantly minimized, resulting in a natural-looking focus shift when shooting video.

Supports various camera functions
The lens is compatible with the electronic image stabilization, aberration correction*, DMF and AF+MF of cameras from various manufacturers. Another advantage of this ultra-wide-angle lens is that it offers a wide angle of view even if the electronic image stabilization function crops the image slightly
