Sigma 28mm 1.4 DG HSM Sony E Customer return
With the introduction of this lens, the product line of fast wide-angle fixed focal length lenses compatible with the full-frame format is extended to five lenses from 14mm to 35mm. All lenses, except the 14mm lens, have an F1.4 aperture (F1.8 for the 14mm) and offer photographers the choice of the angle of view that best suits them, an attractive bokeh and inspires their imagination.
The 28mm angle of view was widely used in the era of analog cameras and still has many fans today. The SIGMA 28mm F1.4 DG HSM Art was developed to meet the wishes of many photographers who have expressed a strong interest in using the familiar 28mm angle of view in the quality of the Art product line. This was based on the experience gained from the development of the previous Art F1.4 fixed focal length lens product line. This new classic wide-angle lens, which benefits from the latest design, materials and processing technologies, is now part of SIGMA's Art product line.
The lens is equipped with two FLD glass elements (''F'' Low Dispersion) and three SLD glass elements (Special Low Dispersion). These three efficiently arranged aspherical lenses, including a large-diameter aspherical lens, ensure thorough correction of chromatic aberration, which is particularly common in wide-angle lenses. This enables high resolution across the entire sensor, while sagittal coma is fully corrected and distortion is reduced just as effectively. Exceptional performance is achieved in street photography as well as when shooting landscapes and night skies
. The lens is dust and splash proof and together with the water and oil repellent coating on the front element, it ensures exceptional performance even in extremely challenging shooting conditions. Thanks to the HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) with updated algorithm, the high-speed autofocus captures any subject movement without delay.
The Super Multi-Layer Coating (SML) prevents reflections and ghost images. This ensures sharp and high-contrast images across the entire Zoom range.
The almost round aperture consists of 11 blades and ensures a very pleasant bokeh outside the focal plane of the image.
