Scratch-resistant gray filter that allows you to extend the exposure time and intentionally reduce the depth of field.

With the "Digital Vario ND Extended" Rodenstock launches the successor of the "Digital Vario ND", which improves the predecessor in some points. For example, the mount is now much slimmer, so that the outer diameter could be reduced. Disturbing vignetting with wide-angle lenses is eliminated.
Bayonet mount lens hoods can now be used even when a filter is screwed on, thanks to this smaller diameter. The polarizing filter foils now have an increased efficiency in the violet and blue range and the absorption has been reduced.
This allows you to use the photographic range already at 1.2 f-stops (extension factor 2.3). This ranges according to an exposure extension factor of 64x up to over 6 f-stops. The high-quality polarizing filter is particularly scratch-resistant and comes with a wide-angle aluminum rotating mount with a scale.
