The Gitzo GM2542 Series 2 monopod is a slim, ultra-lightweight tripod with four carbon fiber segments. It offers an ideal combination of high stability and maximum mobility. Thanks to the carbon eXact tubes, the weight is reduced to a minimum without compromising on stability.
The GM2542 is a professional solution that safely supports an impressive load capacity of 30 kg, yet weighs a feather-light 510 grams. The G-Lock Ultra system makes the tubes even more robust by rigidly connecting the leg segments, protecting the joints from moisture and dirt.
The monopod reaches a height of 164 cm and has a practical, reversible 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch thread for attaching various cameras, lenses and tripod heads. It folds down to just 54 cm and can be easily stored or attached to a backpack - ideal for day and multi-day hikes
. The base of the GM2542 features an innovative rubber foot with swivel ball joint for smooth movement, ideal for shooting moving subjects. The foot can be removed if required and replaced with optional feet or metal spikes. The monopod also features Gitzo's signature ergonomic handle and a detachable wrist strap for added safety.
