Leofoto Tripod ball head LH-40SC Arca-Swiss coupling & Weaver rail

This ball head has a load capacity of 20 kilograms.
This is achieved thanks to the large ball diameter of 40 millimetres, which was manufactured with a tolerance of 0.01 millimetres.
This means that the ball head can also move heavy loads easily and clamp them securely. The ball head has a weight of approx. 500 g

.

The base diameter of the ball head is 57 millimetres, the connection to the tripod is made via a 3/8 inch photo thread

Other special features:

• The ball head can be rotated 360° at its base and at the clamp

• The clamping is released via a large ergonomic rotary knob.
• The clamping resistance can be variably adjusted.
• Two bulges are available for panning up to 90°.

This model is equipped with the LSC-50 quick-release

coupling.

The special feature of this coupling is that it has a double clamping function. Either for classic Arca-Swiss quick-release plates or for Picatinny/Weaver rails. This means you can quickly convert your photo tripod into a target stick

For the metal parts, Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components. This corrosion-resistant material is characterized by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to structural steel. All parts are milled from the solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Here too, Leofoto makes no compromises!
