As a very compact 4K 60p camcorder, the X1200 offers the mobility and portability to meet the most diverse demands and requirements. It records in 4K at 60fps and Full HD even at up to 120fps for perfect slow motion.

The universal lens offers a 24x optical Zoom with an initial focal length of 25mm. In addition to the three-stage ND filter, it also offers two adjustment rings for quick manual operation of focus, Zoom or iris

. Heat-dissipating design

A thin fan helps to reduce the size of the housing and achieves a compactness of 4K 60p. A camcorder that supports 4K 60p 10-bit recording achieves the light weight of approx. 1.5 kg (all inclusive) and the maximum power consumption of approx. 19.8 W (recording).

High-performance lens

The high-performance lens has passed the strict test standards for aspects such as resolution and contrast. It not only renders sharp, crisp images, but also produces excellent nuance and shading.

1/2.5-type (1/2.5-inch) sensor

By increasing the readout speed, it is possible to process large-volume 4K data at a fast 60 fps/50 fps. This suppresses the rolling shutter distortion that often occurs when shooting moving subjects.

Venus Engine processor

The Venus Engine, which incorporates technologies gathered with LUMIX, is newly integrated into camcorders. This high-speed LSI processes the huge volume of 4K data quickly and accurately while reducing noise.4:2:2 10-bit.

2 manual rings

The Zoomspeed can be varied by pressing the Zoom rocker switch on the body. Operating the Zoomlever, which is attached to the handle unit, maintains a constant Zoomspeed, which can be adjusted in 7 steps via the menu. The ring size is changed from front to back for easy operation.

Note

The aperture is only assigned to the manual ring if the manual aperture is equipped.

ND filters

ND filters are built into the lens to suppress the amount of incident light. The filters can be selected (1/4, 1/16, 1/64 or CLEAR) to adapt them to the shooting environment. This is useful, for example, if you want to film in bright daylight with a slow shutter speed. You can also achieve high resolution and shallow depth of field when opening the aperture.

Slow motion120/100fps (FHD, MOV)

The HD mode achieves a super slow motion effect with a maximum of 120fps (59.94Hz) or100fps(50Hz). It supports high-quality 10-bit recording in FHD mode. The image area is not clipped even at high frame rates.

8-Mode Gamma

Gamma can be selected from eight modes, including two cine-like modes developed based on VariCam know-how. The desired gradation can be achieved to meet the specific requirements of video production.

16-axis independent colour correction function

Each of the 16 image phases can be adjusted individually. This
enables color matching of multiple cameras under the same
lighting conditions and creative image reproduction.

Waveform Monitor /Vector Scope

Waveform Monitor (WFM) displays the recorded signals as visual
waveform data to determine the correct exposure when a
precise broadcast specification must be met. Vector Scope allows you to check color phase and saturation and adjust white balance accordingly.

Zebra Pattern

Supports simultaneous Zebra 1 & Zebra 2 displays with different thresholds. Effective for measuring skin tones by setting upper and lower brightness limits and displaying
zebra patterns in this range.

Level & Guidelines

Level

Allows you to check the camera tilt via an on-screen display on the LCD.

Guidelines

Three types of guidelines can be displayed to help you compose your shots.

Luminance Level Adjustment

In 10-bit modes, you can select 0-1023, 64-940 or 64-1023. When creating the video standard gradation 16-235/16-255 in the 8-bit brightness level, editing can be carried out with
suitable brightness levels. When creating images that combine photos and videos, editing can be carried out with suitable brightness levels.

USB PD(Power Delivery)

The USB-C port enables power supply and charging with a mobile battery when the device is switched off.

Stepless Auto White Balance

A smooth transition occurs when the white balance mode is switched. This is useful, for example, when moving from outdoors to indoors. Equipped with an ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance) function.

. IR (infrared) shooting in dark places

The IR cut filter can be switched on and off (assigned via the user button). When the filter is off, commercially available IR lamps can be used for shooting in dark locations.

Simultaneous display on an LCD monitor and viewfinder

The monitor can be displayed continuously even when viewing the EVF.

3.5-inch LCD with touch operation

Monitor with 2,760K dots and almost twice the resolution of conventional models. The RGB pixel structure is used to achieve high readability even in bright sunlight. The electrostatic touch panel improves operation when selecting menu items. Focusing is also done quickly by simply touching the subject on the screen.

Double SD card slot and recording functions

Double SD card slots are available. This allows unlimited relay recording by simply changing the SD cards and also enables the use of different recording systems to ensure high recording reliability.

Wired remote control
