Rode VideoMic Pro+ directional microphone

This true directional microphone from RØDE can be used with camcorders, SLR cameras and portable audio recorders, and is suitable as a source for reference audio and main audio. The VideoMic Pro+ comes with the Rycote Lyre suspension system, which enhances the VideoMic Pro's existing capsule/tube and windscreen. The integrated battery compartment facilitates replacement and cannot be lost.

The auto power-on feature (with external power supply option) is perfect for quick mobile use and automatically turns the microphone off when disconnected from the camera. The microphone can be powered by the built-in rechargeable LB-1. The mic can also be charged via Micro USB or with 2 AA batteries. Digital switching optimally captures the source audio signal and reduces post production and editing time.
