Next generation ActiveTrack Pro

The next generation of ActiveTrack Pro utilizes the new Focus Pro LiDAR [3] and AI algorithms to smoothly track your subject with the RS 4 Pro's three-axis gimbal. Even if the subject is briefly obscured, it can be quickly captured again and the focus maintained. ActiveTrack Pro also features outstanding detection and tracking performance in multi-subject or distant subject scenarios.

Dual focus and Zoom motors for better performance

DJI Focus Pro Motor

The DJI RS 4 Pro includes a new joystick mode switch that allows camera operators to control gimbal movement or lens Zoom via the joystick. When used with the Focus Pro Motor [4] in Zoom control mode, the joystick can be used to perform Power Zoom operations for PZ lenses, Clear Image Zoom operations [7] and external focus motor Zoom operations for native, precise and convenient focusing.

When paired with two Focus Pro motors [4], camera operators can precisely control focus with the DJI RS 4 Pro by turning the dial and adjusting the lens Zoom for seamless and effortless lens control.

DJI Focus Pro handheld unit

DJI Focus Pro incorporates innovative LiDAR autofocus technology and introduces a high-precision manual control unit with magnetic damping: Focus Pro Hand Unit. [3]

For team shooting, the gimbal operator can control the RS 4 Pro gimbal via devices such as DJI Master Wheels, DJI Ronin 4D Hand Grips and the DJI Very Bright Wireless Monitor. [3] The Focus Puller can also activate the LiDAR Waveform function on the high-brightness wireless monitor for intelligent focusing assistance [9] to enable more precise control with the Focus Pro hand unit.

Handle with high-capacity battery

Keep filming - the DJI RS BG70 Handle with high-capacity battery [3] extends the battery life of the RS 4 Pro to 29 hours. [10] It can also power the camera and accessories with up to 18 watts via the USB-C port at the bottom of the handle.

High payload capacity

carbon fiber axis arms of the DJI RS 4 Pro feature a payload capacity of 4.5 kg as well as high power and torque and can easily accommodate common mirrorless/cinema cameras and lens setups

Smooth balancing

The roller axis now includes two roller bearings for easier adjustment

all three axes feature a Teflon™ coating with a low coefficient of friction for smooth balancing even with heavy cameras

When changing cameras or lenses, the camera can be moved forwards or backwards using the fine-tuning knob on the tilt axis for precise balancing with millimeter accuracy

The top quick release plate now has an adjustable position guide to prevent the camera from loosening or changing position.

Automatic screen lock

The OLED touchscreen includes a new automatic lock function that prevents accidental operations while shooting. When the screen is locked, the current gimbal and joystick mode can still be displayed with reduced brightness to reduce power consumption

2nd Generation Automatic

With next-generation automatic axis locks, the DJI RS 4 Pro can be quickly deployed or switch to sleep mode, greatly improving shooting, transition and storage efficiency. The axis locks have also been improved to reduce distances and further reduce gimbal shake when locked
