Mixer, Recorder and Dual Audio Interface in one - the perfect solution for podcasters and content creators. Compact and just 23cm wide, RØDECaster Duo offers state-of-the-art technology with ultra-low noise mic preamps and studio effects, while being simple and intuitive to use.

A 5.5" HD touchscreen, logically arranged controls and professional channel presets with Quick Editor ensure a speedy workflow. If you wish, you can also delve deep into the signal processing parameters.

Mixer

The RØDECaster Duo has seven freely assignable input channels, four of which have long 100 mm faders as well as select, mute and solo buttons. The remaining three input channels are virtual and are controlled via the touchscreen. The

following signal sources can be assigned to the channels: the rear Neutrik combo jacks (XLR/jack), the front 3.5 mm TRRS jack (headset), RØDE Wireless, Bluetooth®, USB1, USB2 and SMART Pad Audio

two combo jacks can be connected to (XLR) or electric guitar or line sources (jack). The ultra-low noise high-gain preamp (up to 76 dB preamplification) delivers a crystal-clear audio signal - even with insensitive, dynamic speaker microphones.

For condenser microphones, the required 48 volt phantom power can be added

Proven mixer setups can be saved with all settings as a "show" and restored as needed at the touch of a button.

Wireless

Thanks to wideband Bluetooth®, music and speech are received in first-class sound quality; conversely, signal output via an external Bluetooth speaker is also possible. A wireless receiver is also built in, allowing a RØDE Wireless II or Wireless ME transmitter module to radio directly into the RØDECaster Duo, and firmware updates can be conveniently performed via WLAN.

Recorder

When an optional microSD card is inserted into the rear slot, the RØDECaster Duo can be used as a standalone recorder. You simply start recording by pressing the red REC button in the upper left corner of the display. Alternatively, you can connect a suitable (sufficiently fast) USB-C storage medium.

Recording can be done in stereo or multitrack

If you prefer, you can also use the RØDECaster Duo as an audio interface and record to your computer.

Dual Audio Interface

The RØDECaster Duo offers two independently usable audio interfaces

Two computers or two smartphones or a combination can be connected to the rear USB-C sockets (1 and 2) and integrated into the setup.

system requirements are MacOS 10.15 and Windows 10 (version 1803) or Windows 11.

SMART Pads

The 6 programmable SMART Pads are used to start or play audio files as well as trigger MIDI commands, voice FX, mixer actions and other functions

Two bank change buttons give access to 7 additional banks for a total of 48 actions.

Signal processing and effects

Thanks to the integrated DSP, the microphone signals can be refined with high-pass filter, de-esser, noise gate, compressor, EQ and Aphex exciter as well as arranged in the stereo panorama (Pan L/R). In addition, the RØDECaster Duo offers the studio effects Reverb and Delay (Echo) as well as the Voice FX Megaphone, Robot, Disguise and Pitch Shifter.

Power Supply

The power supply is provided by the included external power supply, which is connected to the third USB-C socket (next to the power switch)
